We saved the best location until last during our stay on Havelock Island, for the last 3 nights we moved across the island to Beach No 7 or Radha Nagar. Out of all the beaches it was the most hyped, it only has 2 places to stay near it, with one being Barefoot at Havelock which is also the swishest place on the whole island. Lucky us!

As beaches go it is right up there due to the fact that;
- A – it’s beautiful, with native forest skirting the beach.
- B – has crystal clear water with the added bonus of shore break which makes it a bit more fun than your usual idyllic tropical beach.
- C – virtually empty.
About the only downside there could be is the fact that the whole Andaman’s area is a saltwater Crocodile sanctuary. And the thought in the back of your mind that an American tourist got munched while swimming off this beach earlier this year!

So it was a case of swim, read, swim plus a bit of body surfing, eat, swim etc and wait for the sunset. Ideal after weeks of comings and goings in the hectic cities of northern India.

There were also quite a few creatures we met during our time over this side, including Muffina – the feline queen of the restaurant, the very cool blue and green Gecko who patrolled the bathroom and numerous beach dogs.
