Sinuwa to Jinhu
Shortest day today of the lot, with the added bonus of a trip to the hot springs at Jinhu. After a late start and only one killer up hill to Chhomgrong before lunch, we where in Jinhu early afternoon (we also got stuck behind the annual sheep drove down the mountain). After a quick change we wandered (20 minutes) down to the river to have a dip at the famous hot springs we had heard all about over the past 10 days. And to be fair it was pretty good especially after trekking for such a long time. It was busy but the 2 pools there and the natural hot showers were enough for all, you even got the added bonus for an impromptu massage from a mute man! Sadly the 30 minute trek back up the hill removed any cleanliness you had gained as you were covered in sweat again within 5 minutes, cold shower required back on arrival at the lodge. Afternoon at leisure, and dinner turned into a bit of sing-a-long with the porters as they pulled out a drum and the rakshi flowed!
